How to Play Road Rash
Quick start
Choose a track with left/right and confirm with 1 or 2. Press a button to race, hold 1 to accelerate and steer around traffic. Use 2 when a rider is alongside; hold up and press 2 for a kick.
Controls
Left/right: steer; down: brake. 1: accelerate. 2: punch or use a held club; up+2: kick. After crashing, left/right guides the running rider and 1 or 2 stops him. START: pause. Monitor both rider stamina and bike damage.
Road Rash — About this game
Road Rash on Game Gear combines motorcycle racing with close-range attacks. Accelerate through traffic, watch the mirrors and use punches or kicks when a rival draws alongside. Attacks automatically aim toward the nearest opponent, so positioning matters more than trying to target a distant rider. Your stamina and the motorcycle’s damage have separate meters: taking a beating threatens the rider, while a wrecked bike ends the race. After a crash you run back automatically but can steer around traffic or stop to wait. Prize money buys better bikes. Progress requires fourth place or better on each of five tracks, making repeated safe finishes as important as a single aggressive win.
