During your army’s phase, select a character and a destination within the displayed movement area, then consider magic or other available actions before handing the field to the opposition. Earth, water, fire and wind affinities add another reason to inspect an opponent instead of choosing only by distance. The cost of a careless move is serious: the leader’s death ends the game, and other fallen allies cannot be revived. Check equipment and remaining HP in town, keep vulnerable companions out of danger, and use defense or retreat when a duel turns against you. Retreat can fail, so safety begins with positioning.
