Samurai Shodown — About this game
Samurai Shodown brings weapon-based duels to Game Gear. Positioning matters: a slash that falls short gives the opponent a chance to answer, while a kick can challenge a different opening. Use standing or crouching guard according to the attack, and dash or retreat to reset the distance. A sword clash calls for repeated presses of the slash button; losing your sword leaves you fighting with your fists until you recover it. Begin with deliberate single attacks, watch the response and add the power slash when the opening is clear.
