How to Play Shining Force - The Sword of Hajya
Quick start
Press START, choose a new game and enter the name with the D-pad and 2. Review supplies at camp before departing. When a member’s turn arrives, move within reach and press 2 to open commands. Choose an attack or spell and confirm its target with 2. Check the terrain percentage and keep healing support behind the front line.
Controls
D-pad: move the active character or select menu entries. 2: display and confirm commands and targets. 1: cancel a command or enter tactical overview during movement. START closes battle windows and switches status displays. Attack, magic, item use and waiting are chosen from the command menu.

This is a pre-release build of Shining Force - The Sword of Hajya. Join the Cypress recruits to recover the stolen Sword of Hajya. This Game Gear campaign moves between tactical scenarios and camp preparation, with each member acting when their turn arrives. Move into position, then choose a weapon attack, spell, item or wait command. The displayed terrain effect helps you judge protection: a higher percentage reduces damage from enemy attacks. Spells use MP, and their range and chosen level deserve a check before committing. Experience builds toward level gains, with promotion available from level ten. Between scenarios, the camp gives you time to buy supplies, repair worn equipment and arrange treatment instead of rushing straight into another fight. The tactical overview lets you inspect the field before moving. Keep support characters in reach, check the next enemy’s position and use waiting deliberately when advancing would expose a weak member.
