Sonic: press again in midair to double jump. Knuckles: press again and hold to glide, release to descend; meet a wall while gliding, then use up/down to climb. START pauses/resumes.
Sonic Blast — About this game
Sonic Blast sends Sonic and Knuckles after five fragments of the Chaos Emerald. Both heroes run, roll and charge a Spin Dash, but Sonic can jump again in midair while Knuckles can glide into a wall and climb it. These different routes give you a reason to try both characters. Rings protect against ordinary hits and can be recovered after they scatter; taking damage without one costs a life. Search acts one and two for hidden giant rings that lead to Special Stages. Collect fifty rings there: the first act’s challenge gives items, while the second offers an Emerald fragment. Each regular act also has a ten-minute limit, with a warning during the final minute. Balance searching with progress instead of spending every ring and second on a dangerous shortcut.
