How to Play Sonic Spinball
Quick start
Enter Options and choose separate flipper controls, then START the game. Use 1 for the left flipper and 2 for the right. Steer Sonic with directions; on solid ground 1 or 2 jumps, and down plus taps charges a spin dash.
Controls
Directions: move/steer airborne, down crouch. Separate flipper layout: 1 left, 2 right. On ground 1/2 jumps; hold down and tap 1/2, then release for spin dash. START: begin/pause. Flipper layout changes in Options.
Sonic Spinball — About this game
Sonic Spinball on Game Gear mixes pinball rebounds with moments of running and jumping. Sonic is the ball, so use the flippers to send him toward targets, chutes and the Emeralds needed to reach a boss. Directional control in flight helps recover a poor bounce, while holding a flipper can cradle him before a more deliberate shot. The fortress changes from toxic chambers to machinery and the final chase. Look at the next route instead of simply hitting every bumper: survival and the Emerald objective matter alongside the score. Choose the flipper layout that feels clear before beginning.
