The Game Gear sequel sends Sonic through seven zones built around more than speed: runaway railcarts, hang gliders, underwater bubbles and spinning flywheels each change how you cross a stage. Rings protect against an enemy hit, but a hit removes the whole supply, making a cautious approach useful before unfamiliar hazards. The emeralds are hidden along the routes, so simply racing to each exit will not reveal everything. Jump clear of a railcart before it carries you into danger, and remember that pulling a glider upward also slows it down. Finding all six emeralds leads to Tails’s rescue and the full ending.
