How to Play Sonic The Hedgehog - Triple Trouble
Quick start
Press START at the title for a normal game. On Player Select, choose Sonic or Tails with left/right and confirm with START, 1 or 2. Move right and use either action button to jump, holding it for more height. From a standstill, hold down and press 1 or 2, then release the direction to dash. Collect rings before taking risks.
Controls
D-pad: move; down while running rolls, and up/down while still looks around. 1 or 2: jump and spin attack; hold for a higher jump. Down plus 1 or 2 charges Super Dash; release the direction to launch. Up plus 1 or 2 gives Sonic a Strike Dash or Tails flight. START starts and pauses/resumes. In the Sea Fox, 2 fires torpedoes.

This is a pre-release build of Sonic The Hedgehog - Triple Trouble. Sonic Triple Trouble puts Sonic and Tails in a race for the Chaos Emeralds while Robotnik, Knuckles and the treasure hunter Nack interfere. Choose one of the two heroes and cross six zones, each with three acts and a boss at the end of the third. Both heroes jump, roll and charge a Super Dash, but their upward-input moves differ: Sonic builds a Strike Dash with brief protection, while Tails uses his tails to fly. Rings protect you from ordinary hits; being hurt without one costs a life, and each act also has a ten-minute limit. If you carry at least fifty rings, breaking a Chaos Emerald monitor opens a route to a Special Stage. Explore carefully before committing to the finish: keeping rings and finding these monitors serves a different purpose from simply reaching the next boss.
