How to Play Spirou
Quick start
Start from the title and enter the first area. Walk with left/right, use 2 to jump and down to crouch. Hold 1 while moving when you need a run, then practise stopping before a narrow ledge.
Controls
D-pad: walk, crouch and climb available ladders or ledges. 2: jump. 1: action/run while moving; use the weapon when equipped. START: begin or pause. Use walking speed first to learn the prototype’s jump distances.
Spirou — About this game
Spirou’s Game Gear prototype adapts the comic reporter’s adventure into a scrolling platform game. Move through layered routes, use ladders and ledges to change height and control your running speed before committing to a jump. The rescue of Count Champignac brings Spirou into danger created by the robot Cyanida, with the familiar comic cast shaping the journey. Enemies and environmental hazards often share a narrow space, so a quick sprint is useful only when you can see where it ends. Later access to a weapon adds a way to confront threats without turning every stretch into a shooting gallery. Check the next landing, keep a clear retreat and explore the route rather than assuming every visible object is safe to touch.
