Sports Illustrated - Championship Football & Baseball — About this game
Sports Illustrated: Championship Football & Baseball puts two sports on one Game Gear cartridge. Football offers thirty teams, a playbook of runs, passes and kicks, three difficulty settings and adjustable quarter length. Pick a receiver before throwing and use short sprints carefully, since repeated bursts tire the ball carrier. Baseball offers twenty-eight clubs, adjustable innings and an automatic-fielding option, with batting, pitching and base management shaping each inning. Exhibition games teach the basics before a sixteen-game football season or thirty-two-game baseball season. Passwords preserve season progress. The two sports share menu navigation but demand different timing: read routes before a snap and watch the ball’s shadow before committing a fielder to a catch.
