Quick start
Choose Start Game with 2, read the briefing and use 1 to continue. On the bridge select a crew emblem with Left/Right and 2. Prepare shields and weapons through Worf, then press START to enter navigation and steer.
Controls
Crew mode: Left/Right select officer, 2 contact; Up/Down adjust impulse speed. START toggles crew/navigation modes; from a crew screen it returns to the bridge. Crew screen: Left/Right function, 2 enter, 1 message display. Navigation: pad steer, 2 phasers, 1 torpedoes after arming. Function screens use their task-specific controls; START is not a universal pause.

Read the briefing and choose the crew member whose station fits the problem. Data handles navigation and sensors, Worf controls weapons and shields, La Forge manages engineering, and O’Brien runs transport operations. Some functions resolve directly; others become tasks that demand accurate timing or routing while mission time continues. Returning to the bridge is only part of the job: switch to navigation to steer and fight, and answer urgent crew messages before they become a crisis. Progress earns rank and passwords, giving the training a continuing structure beyond a single successful exercise.
