How to Play Super Kick Off
Quick start
Choose a language with the D-pad and 1 or 2. Select Practice, choose Up Pitch or Down Pitch and confirm. Move toward the ball, try long kicks with 1 and elevated kicks with 2 before starting a friendly match.
Controls
D-pad: move players and direct the ball when kicking. 1: long kick, free kick or lob as the situation allows. 2: elevated kick. When After-Touch is enabled, use the D-pad after a kick to alter the ball’s direction. 1/2 confirm menus. START: pause/resume.
Super Kick Off — About this game
Super Kick-Off on Game Gear offers a single-player football competition with practice, friendly matches, leagues and cup play. Use training to learn the field and the ball’s movement before facing an opponent. Pitch conditions change bounce and pace, wind alters a kick’s path, and adjustable team skill lets you set the challenge. Kit design and referee choice add further customization. With After-Touch enabled, directional input can shape the ball after a kick, making timing and angle important. Approach goal from an angle instead of always shooting straight at the keeper. The eight-team competitions reward keeping possession and learning passing space, while knockout matches can end in penalties when scores stay level.
