How to Play Super Monaco GP
Quick start
Press START, choose one player and Free Practice, then course and automatic transmission. Steer left/right, hold 1 to accelerate and use 2 to brake before bends.
Controls
Left/right: steer. Automatic: 1 accelerate, 2 brake. Seven-speed: 1 shift down, 2 shift up. Directions: setup choice. START: confirm/begin/pause; 1/2 also advance selection screens.
Super Monaco GP — About this game
Super Monaco GP on Game Gear combines racing with pre-race choices for wings, engine, tires and transmission. Free Practice lets you learn any of sixteen circuits before entering the Grand Prix. Start with automatic gears so braking and steering get your attention; the seven-speed option changes the action buttons into gear shifts. A good lap comes from preparing for the next bend, leaving room around traffic and accelerating out cleanly. Use the circuit diagram to anticipate the route, then change one setup choice at a time so you can feel what it does.
