How to Play Taz-Mania
Quick start
Press START. Move Left/Right, use 1 to start or stop the tornado and 2 to jump. Stand behind food and press Down to eat. For a spinning jump, press 2 then 1; conserve energy for gaps.
Controls
Pad: move; Down picks up/eats an item. 1: tornado toggle; 2: jump. Jump then 1: spinning jump; Up improves height. Mine cart: 1 brake, hold 2 raise/release lower, pad adjusts position. Sky-Cross: 2 flaps feathers. START: start/pause/resume.
Taz-Mania — About this game
Taz-Mania for Game Gear sends Taz after a legendary giant egg across a series of changing challenges. The tornado is a fast attack, but low energy prevents spinning, so eating and choosing when to stop are part of the route. Jump first and then spin to cross wider gaps or reach higher ledges. The mine changes the controls: brake with 1 and raise the cart with 2 to avoid beams and obstacles. Later, flapping feathers in the Sky-Cross calls for a different rhythm again. Watch the landscape before charging ahead, especially on ice and moving logs. A useful snack keeps the hunt going, while a careless high-speed spin can carry Taz straight past a safe landing.
