How to Play Tempo Jr.
Quick start
Press START, select Start with Up/Down and START. Move, throw notes with 1, then finish flashing enemies up close. Jump with 2; while airborne, press and hold 2 to fly, steering Left/Right.
Controls
Pad: move; Up look up, Down duck/look down. 1: notes/close finishing attack. 2: jump, hold for height; press and hold in air to fly. Double-tap Left/Right and hold: Buzz-Dash; 1 during dash: roll. START: begin/menu confirm and pause/resume.
Tempo Jr. — About this game
This is a pre-release build of Tempo Jr.. Tempo Jr. for Game Gear turns a musical world into a platform adventure. Fire notes to make enemies flash, then move close for a finishing attack or jump onto them. The notes left behind restore strength, so defeating a foe and collecting the reward work together. Button 2 handles both jumping and flight: hold for height, then press and hold again in the air to extend your travel. A double direction press starts the Buzz-Dash, and an attack during that dash becomes a roll. Learn these moves on safe ground before combining them near a gap. Passwords carry progress forward, while the options let you adjust starting lives and listen to the music.
