How to Play The Addams Family
Quick start
Press START. Move with directions, jump with 1 and enter or leave rooms with 2. START opens the inventory. After rescuing Thing, press 1 while paused to use its temporary shield.
Controls
Directions: move; in water choose direction. 1: jump/swim motion. 2: enter/exit rooms. START: pause/inventory/resume. Paused 1: use rescued Thing, up to three times.
The Addams Family — About this game
The Addams Family sends Gomez through a mansion whose rooms hide both relatives and useful objects. Free Pugsley, Wednesday and Granny, help restore Fester’s memory and work toward Morticia in the underground vaults. Doors are part of the route, so look for a room you have not explored rather than assuming the next platform is always the answer. The inventory records objects and rescued relatives. Once freed, Thing can provide a short shield, but its uses are limited. Sheet music and Lurch add another reason to remember where you found something and what might react to it later.
