The Itchy & Scratchy Game puts you in control of Itchy while Scratchy and his helpers turn each cartoon setting into a running fight. Both main characters have energy bars, so the objective is to survive while wearing down the rival rather than simply reaching the far edge. When Scratchy moves off screen, the tracker points toward him. Mouseholes give Itchy routes for escape or an ambush, and the surroundings hide weapons and useful pickups. Hit a pickup with the attack button to collect it: cheese gives a brief burst of speed and a shield grants temporary protection.
