How to Play The Jungle Book
Quick start
Choose START to begin, or use OPTIONS to select EASY first. With default button assignments, move left/right, jump with 1 and throw bananas with 2. Collect eight gems in Jungle by Day, check the timer and use vines to explore higher paths.
Controls
D-pad: left/right moves; up/down looks above/below and climbs a vine when attached. Default 1: jump, including jumps toward vines. Default 2: throw bananas. OPTIONS can swap jump and fire. START begins from the start screen. Shoot hanging banana bunches to reveal items.
The Jungle Book — About this game
The Jungle Book turns Mowgli’s journey to the village into platform exploration with gem collecting and banana attacks. The first Jungle by Day stage asks for eight gems, so reaching the edge alone is not enough. Look above and below before leaving a branch, and use vines to reach routes at different heights. A nine-minute limit encourages a planned search instead of wandering through every path twice. Shooting hanging banana bunches can reveal useful items, including health and weapon improvements. Learn the first area slowly, note where the gems sit and return to a safe route before pressing onward. Bagheera and the threat of Shere Khan give the journey its direction.
