How to Play Majors, The - Pro Baseball
Quick start
Press START, choose 1P Play and Exhibition with the D-pad and 2 or START. Select team, stadium, innings and pitcher. Pitch with 2 or swing with 2 when batting.
Controls
D-pad: positioning, fielders and base directions. 2: pitch, swing or throw to the selected base; confirm menus. 1 + 2 after windup: bunt. Current base direction + repeated 1: lead; hold for steal. Base direction + 2: return. START: advance setup screens.
Majors, The - Pro Baseball — About this game
The Majors Pro Baseball extends the game beyond a single match. Choose Exhibition or a pennant of thirty-two, seventy-one or one hundred sixty-two games, then select team, stadium, innings, pitcher and batting order. Edit mode builds a club from players across twenty-six teams for exhibition use. During play, watch pitcher stamina and compare the lineup’s strengths before substitutions. Pitching, batting and fielding all use context-sensitive controls. A bunt uses both buttons after the pitcher begins moving, while a normal swing uses 2. Lead off only when you can respond to a pickoff; extra bases are valuable, but an avoidable out can waste an inning.
