How to Play Winter Olympic Games ~ Winter Olympics
Quick start
Choose a language with the D-pad and an action button. Select Training Session, mark the desired event and press START after making your selection. Begin with Club difficulty. In an alpine event, select a steering method, start within the countdown and steer through every gate before using 1 to gain speed.
Controls
Menus: D-pad and 1/2. Alpine: steer using the selected method; hold 1 to tuck. Moguls: direction+1 single stunt, direction+2 double. Ski jump: 1 starts; 1/2 at takeoff and landing, left/right balances in flight. Bobsleigh/luge: alternate 1/2 to push, then steer left/right. Biathlon: alternate left/right or 1/2, reverse before the bar ends; D-pad aims and 1 shoots. Short track: alternate 1/2 for speed, left/right changes track position.
Winter Olympic Games ~ Winter Olympics — About this game
Winter Olympic Games brings ten disciplines together around Lillehammer. Choose the full competition, assemble a smaller program or practise individual events before chasing medals. Up to four human competitors take turns, while the Club difficulty offers an easier starting point. The events ask for different skills: alpine skiing rewards clean gates and controlled speed, ski jumping needs a well-timed launch and landing, and biathlon mixes rhythmic movement with aimed shooting. A fast opening does not compensate for a missed gate or an unstable finish. Practise one event until its controls feel familiar, then add another instead of treating every sport as the same button-mashing race.
