Quick start
Press START, choose Open Mode and select both teams. Confirm teams and lineup with 2 or START. During play, 2 pitches, swings or throws; directions position players and shape pitches after release. START calls time out.

Directions: player movement, selection and pitch control after 2. 2: pitch/swing/throw/confirm. 1: cancel/back; with directions, lead off or steal. START: mode selection, time out/resume.

Open Mode offers a single computer match, while Pennant Race extends the challenge across a chosen season length. Team Edit lets you assemble a custom roster and Player Data helps compare strengths. On the field, watch balls, strikes, outs and runners instead of swinging at every pitch. A pitcher’s stamina affects delivery quality, so a change on the mound can matter more than another risky pitch. Begin with one match to learn both halves of an inning.
