How to Play Ghostbusters: The Video Game
Quick start
At headquarters, use the board behind Janine to choose a mission and touch the green checkmark. Drive to its marker and press A to enter. Move the team into position, touch a ghost to attack and weaken it. Hold L and touch to throw a trap, then drag the weakened ghost over it. Watch each member's health and courage.
Controls
Default right-handed controls: +Control Pad moves on foot; touch fires at a target. A or touching an object interacts. Hold L and touch to throw a trap; X switches proton/slime, Y shows the overhead map, SELECT shows objectives and START pauses. Red/green portrait icons order stop/follow. Driving uses Up for gas, Down for brake/reverse and Left/Right to steer; A enters the mission.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game — About this game
In this DS adventure, Peter, Ray, Egon and Winston respond to a fresh outbreak of paranormal activity in 1991. Take story jobs and customer calls from the headquarters board, then drive the Ecto-1 to the marked location before the mission timer runs out. Income supports equipment research, upgrades and the team's running costs. On foot, teammates follow your lead and attack your target, or hold position when ordered. Most ghosts must be weakened with a proton stream or slime and dragged over a trap. Health and courage are separate: losing either incapacitates a team member, and losing all four at once fails the mission.
