Gintama Quest extends the Gintama-item battle system into a party RPG. Familiar characters take different jobs, changing more than their costumes: a job alters battle-item effects and matchups with opponents. Choose companions and a simple role combination, then compare an item's effect before using it. Story episodes reach the Yagyu arc, while collecting more Gintama items expands the available tactics. Begin with the first party encounter and learn how one job changes a familiar item before rebuilding the whole lineup. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
