How to Play Glocal Hexcite
Quick start
Press START and choose Practice Mode or an easy 1P match. Grab a shape with A, move it with the D-pad and rotate it with B. For the opening move, fit it in the center hexagon along an edge. When the shape flashes in a legal position, press A to place it. Compare the spaces left for the next turn.
Controls
The D-pad moves shapes and navigates menus. A opens or confirms menus, picks up a shape and places it. B rotates a shape or leaves a menu. START displays scores and pauses. SELECT opens the continue/save menu; Save and Exit preserves an eligible single-player game.
Glocal Hexcite — About this game
Rotate before committing and watch for the flashing indication of a legal position. More touching edges can earn a stronger score, but a tempting gap may also help the opponent finish a bonus zone. Keep room for your remaining shapes instead of using only the easiest ones. Practice Mode teaches useful decisions, and a computer match lets you set a suitable level before facing harder opponents.
