How to Play Go! Go! Beckham! Adventure on Soccer Island
Quick start
Press START at the title screen, choose a new adventure and enter Soccer Island's Soccer Trials. Begin with Trial 0.1: follow Micky's instructions, keep the football close, kick it through rows of coins and reach the goal at the end. Trials 0.2 and 0.3 teach speed, jumping, enemies, locks and Head Control before World 1, the Enchanted Forest, opens. Do not worry about collecting every treasure on the first visit—the guide confirms some Trial treasure needs upgrades earned later.
Controls
Use the Control Pad to walk, or to dribble while carrying the ball. A jumps; the jump is lower with the ball. B kicks, B+Up kicks straight up, B+Down sends a low long kick, and B+Left/Right kicks farther in that direction. Press A+B plus a direction for a jumping kick. SELECT recentres the camera on the ball. START opens Restart, Quit and Continue. When separated from the ball, A still jumps and the Control Pad moves Beckham, but you need to recover the ball to attack and solve most obstacles.
