How to Play GoldenEye: Rogue Agent
Quick start
Touch TOUCH HERE TO START, choose CAMPAIGN and enter the first available mission. Keep the default Thumb controls to match these instructions. Learn movement and aiming before advancing into open spaces. Pick up a weapon with the left or right weapon icon and reload by touching its ammo indicator. Press START to read objectives. Between missions, try the Virtual Training arena for a new GoldenEye upgrade.
Controls
In default Thumb controls, use the +Control Pad to move and strafe, and slide on the touch screen to look and aim. L fires the left-hand weapon and R the right-hand weapon; close-range attacks also use these triggers. Touch an ammo indicator to reload or a weapon icon to pick up that hand's weapon. Double-tap Down to crouch. SELECT activates a prompted trap. Touch unlocked GoldenEye abilities; START pauses. Other control configurations change some assignments.

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent puts a rogue agent on a path through the Bond underworld. Choose weapons for each hand or commit both hands to a heavier gun, then combine accurate fire with the surroundings. Machine traps can turn the environment against opponents, while GoldenEye upgrades earned through campaign training add abilities such as seeing through walls, electronic interference and a protective shield. Virtual Training provides arenas for practicing unlocked skills. Health recovers after avoiding damage, while armor comes from vests. The mission score rewards accuracy and creative eliminations, giving you a reason to consider positioning and weapon choice rather than simply emptying both magazines.
