Choose an available song and watch the first rhythm demonstration. Tap a few cues to learn how the targets and beat align, finish the performance and read its timing result before replaying or moving to another track.
Controls
Use the DS stylus to tap the displayed rhythm targets in time with the music. Follow any gesture shown for the current passage, then watch its timing feedback. Choose songs and check unlocked costumes or locations through the touch menus.

Grease on DS turns the film's music into stylus rhythm performances. Watch the approaching beat cues and tap in time to make the dancers perform, then use the result to correct early or late responses. Story progress opens more songs, locations and costumes, so practicing one track also supports the next performance. Begin with an available song and learn its cue pattern before chasing a higher result. Keep listening through a missed note rather than losing the following beat; the DS activity is built around touch timing rather than Wii motion peripherals. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
