How to Play Guild DS, The
Quick start
Start an early adventure or scenario and inspect the nearest markets. Buy a small amount of one good, choose a nearby destination and compare its selling price. Finish the turn and check remaining money before expanding the shipment or selecting a persuasion action.
Controls
Use the DS touch map and menus to choose towns, goods, quantities and actions, confirming the transaction before ending the turn. In a sword encounter, follow the shown stylus attack or defense gesture. Return to the trade screen to inspect money and cargo before the next journey.

The Guild DS turns a merchant's rise into a turn-based trading journey. Buy goods in one town, compare another market's demand and decide whether the travel is worth the likely return. Money supports persuasion and other strategies for bringing merchants into the guild, while reputation and social standing reflect your actions. Bandit encounters add short stylus sword fights to the route. Begin with a modest shipment between nearby towns, check the next turn's choices and preserve enough funds to continue trading before chasing an expensive title or scenario target. Begin with the opening instructions and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
