How to Play Guitar Rock Tour
Quick start
Choose Career or a song at an easy difficulty. Read the instrument lesson, match single notes first, then practise sustained notes and chords. Review the result before repeating the difficult section or moving to the next performance.
Controls
Tap the guitar's six on-screen pads as their notes arrive, holding the indicated pad for a long note. Drum play uses the displayed stylus inputs or its L/R button arrangement. Follow the selected instrument's lesson; this DS cartridge does not require the Guitar Grip.
Guitar Rock Tour — About this game
Guitar Rock Tour makes the touch screen the instrument rather than using a fret accessory. In the original DS cartridge's guitar mode, six pads correspond to arriving notes; tap at the timing point and hold a pad through a sustained note. Drums offer a different pattern and the displayed stylus or L/R controls. Career carries the band between venues, while a lower difficulty gives time to learn each chart. Begin with one instrument's lesson and an easy song, watch the note lane rather than the background performance, then repeat a missed passage before switching instruments.
