Kaiji's DS adventure alternates story with rule-driven survival games. Restricted rock-paper-scissors makes the remaining hand and star total matter, while E-Card uses an asymmetric cycle in which the lowly slave can beat the emperor. Steel-beam crossing instead tests stylus balance correction. Read the current game's win condition before choosing a card; a good move in one event can be wrong in the next. Start by learning what your remaining cards allow and observe the opponent rather than spending every strong-looking card immediately.
