How to Play Happy Feet
Quick start
Choose Story Mode, select one of the three save slots and begin the new game. A first-time file opens with a basic tutorial, so follow its prompts before attempting Free Play. Move Mumble through the opening area, speak to nearby characters by pressing Up and practice A jumps; Story alternates exploration with swimming, rhythm and belly-sled missions. Save from the START pause menu when available—sub-missions disable manual saving until they finish, then autosave.
Controls
The D-Pad moves Mumble; Up beside a character speaks. A jumps and catches fish or items while swimming. B boosts or breaks objects; Down+B starts a belly-sled while walking. START pauses and opens Continue, Options, Save and Quit. Later, B dashes underwater or catapults out, but uses more air. Rhythm scenes require the displayed D-Pad or button input when its timing ring turns bright green.
