How to Play Have Fun with Crosswords
Quick start
Start the game and open an available crossword grid. Read a clue and check its answer length before selecting the entry. Write clear letters with the stylus, checking the recognized text before moving on. Fill the answers you know first and use their crossing letters to narrow the remaining possibilities. If an answer conflicts with several crossings, revise it instead of forcing the neighboring words to fit.
Controls
DS: use the stylus to select a grid and answer entry, then write letters through the text-recognition interface. Check the recognized result and use the on-screen correction choices when needed. Move between clues and entries with the displayed puzzle controls; solve from the clue, answer length and crossing letters.

Have Fun with Crosswords brings a collection of 600 crossword grids to the DS with touch-screen play and text recognition. The familiar task is to match a clue to a word that fits the available spaces, then use its letters to help the answers crossing it. Vocabulary and spelling matter together: a plausible word still has to agree with its neighbors. The dual-screen presentation and stylus writing turn the paper exercise into a handheld activity without changing that central logic. Start with the entries you recognize, check the handwriting result and return to harder clues as the grid fills. This approach gives each completed word a useful role in solving the rest.
