How to Play Heidi: The Game
Quick start
Choose English, press START and select an Empty slot on the Save Games screen. Enter a name, then begin Level 1. The opening task is to cross the cave by climbing the platforms above the dead end: build a run-up, jump onto the ledges and keep moving toward the far side. Collect flowers as you explore—100 award an extra life—and avoid touching birds, hedgehogs and other hazards. When an enemy blocks a narrow route, whistle to stun it briefly before jumping past or onto it.
Controls
The D-Pad moves Heidi; double-tap Left or Right to run. A jumps, and pressing A again in the air performs the opening double jump. B whistles, briefly stunning enemies. START pauses. Menus use the D-Pad, A to confirm and B to go back. Later stages may introduce context-specific actions, but no reliable public GBA manual was found for additional shoulder-button assignments.
