How to Play Heroes of Might and Magic
Quick start
Choose a language, select New Game and pick a scenario. For a first attempt, set opponents to Dumb on the settings screen. On the map, place the cursor at a reachable destination and press A to preview the route, then A again to travel. Explore near your town and use SELECT to find End turn when movement is spent.
Controls
D-pad: move the cursor and highlight options. A: select or confirm; on the map, press once to preview a route and again to move. B over a hero: quick information. SELECT: toggle the Adventure Actions bar, including End turn. START: pause and open Adventure Options for settings, saving and loading.
Heroes of Might and Magic — About this game
Choose a scenario and guide knights, barbarians, sorceresses or warlocks through a map that gradually emerges from darkness. Mines and loose resources support construction, while towns supply gold, troops and magical knowledge. Only one building can be added to a town each day, making the order of improvements important. When armies meet, the action moves to a separate battlefield where speed, positioning and spells influence the outcome. This portable adaptation focuses on single-player scenarios against computer opponents, with save slots for longer games of conquest.
