Home Alone 2: Lost in New York — About this game
Home Alone 2 on NES is a side-scrolling escape through a city that seems determined to catch Kevin. The journey opens inside the Plaza Hotel, where even luggage and hotel staff are threats, then moves into Central Park and his uncle's unfinished townhouse. Exploration matters as much as forward movement: useful items hide behind furniture and in the scenery. Darts briefly stun human enemies, necklaces trip many walking pursuers, and Flying Fist weapons knock foes away. Food and temporary power-ups help Kevin survive, but ammunition is limited. The townhouse adds a sequence of keys and traps to the platforming, so this is more than a straight run to the right.
