How to Play Home Run Nighter: Pennant League!!
Quick start
Start with an exhibition game, choose teams and a pitcher, then use the D-pad to set pitch location or batting position. Press A to pitch or swing, and use B for the secondary pitch, bunt, lead-off, or return depending on the situation. On defence, move the nearest fielder with the D-pad and combine a base direction with A to throw. Avoid aggressive extra bases until the timing is familiar.
Controls
D-pad: menus, pitch location, batter, fielder, and runner direction. A: confirm, pitch, swing, and make the primary throw. B: cancel, change pitch or use situational batting and base-running actions. START: begin the game and call time/pause. SELECT: change strategy or information display where available.

Choose among twelve fictional teams for a single exhibition or a longer pennant campaign. Progress can be saved between tournament games, and each batter has a distinct super-deformed sprite.
