How to Play Honoo no Toukyuuji: Dodge Danpei 2
Quick start
Choose げきとうカードバトル at mode selection, then select the teams and opponent. Begin with an ordinary shot and a catch or dodge response; compare cards and keep an eye on life and power. Select a card with A, then press Up to carry out the attack or defense.
Controls
Card-battle controls only: A selects cards; Up executes the attack or defense after selection. Several cards with the same number can be selected together. These are not controls for the separate one-on-one action mode.

Dodge Danpei 2 turns dodgeball into a contest of decisions rather than reflex catches. Number cards strengthen shots and defenses, while matching values can be played together. The flame card has a weakness: a 1 defeats it. Watch life separately from power, since special attacks and team defenses spend the latter. The story adds town exploration, but the exhibition card mode is a more direct way to learn a match.
