How to Play Hugo: Bukkazoom!
Quick start
Select a mode, choose a Hugo character and vehicle, then begin with a straightforward circuit event to learn the diagonal view and loose steering. Each event states a different goal: finish a multi-lap race, collect the required objects, carry an object to its destination while rivals try to steal it, or knock rival drivers out in an enclosed arena. Keep the vehicle centred before a bend and prioritise the stated objective over unnecessary collisions; winning events opens more karts, power-ups and challenges across the three environments.
Controls
D-pad: steer and navigate menus. A: accelerate and confirm a menu choice. B: brake/reverse and go back in menus. START: pause. Collected power-ups are used through the on-screen action prompt; the available effect depends on the event. Published GBA material does not provide a reliable complete L/R/SELECT mapping, so no unsupported shoulder-button function is assigned here.
