Hyokkori Hyōtanjima: Nazo no Kaizokusen — About this game
Hyokkori Hyōtanjima: Nazo no Kaizokusen alternates dialogue-led adventure scenes with compact action puzzles aboard a strange ship. Before a subgame, you choose one of the children and a single tool, with their comments and ability ratings helping you decide. Speed and throwing strength matter alongside simple force. Inside the ship, barrels can hold floor switches down, boomerangs temporarily stop enemies, and a gun turns foes into stones that can be pushed into position. Other sections involve climbing masts and pipes. The challenge is to understand the room and arrive with the right equipment, not simply defeat everything on screen. Chapter passwords let you return to the story later.
