How to Play Infiltrator

Quick start

Press a button past the title, use SELECT to choose Enemy Base and confirm with another button. Read the first briefing: find four chemical containers, have them analysed in the lab, and use the correct neutralizer on the nerve-gas vat. Walk with the D-pad, search cabinets by standing in front and pressing Up, and use SELECT to choose PAPERS or sleeping gas. Finish the task before returning to the helicopter.

Controls

Ground: D-pad moves; Up searches/interacts when facing furniture or a panel. SELECT opens/closes inventory and pauses; Left/Right chooses an item there, A or B uses the equipped item. Flight: START starts the engine; above 2300 RPM, Down lifts off. Down climbs, Up dives, Left/Right banks; A+Up/Down accelerates/slows, A+Left/Right turns. START/SELECT cycles cockpit options, B activates the highlighted one (R radio, S status, W quiet mode). In R, SELECT chooses messages/ADF, Up/Down sets ADF and B sends/returns. Read the destination ADF in S. Land level at 0–20 knots with a gentle descent and W active.

Infiltrator — About this game

Infiltrator pairs cockpit flying with timed, on-foot espionage. Johnny McGibbits must reach the Mad Leader's installations in the Gizmo helicopter, handling navigation, radio identification and a quiet landing before entering the compound. Ground missions ask you to neutralize nerve gas, rescue a scientist and sabotage missile control rooms. These are not run-and-gun stages: papers, sleeping gas, a mine detector and stolen security cards help you get past guards and locked areas. Search rooms carefully, watch the clock and return to the helicopter only after completing the assignment. The menu also lets you begin at the enemy base, making the ground controls easier to learn first.
