How to Play Infinite Space
Quick start
Start New Game and use the opening fleet encounters to learn the command gauge. Wait with Standby, move Forward until weapons are in range and practise normal fire before committing to a barrage. Target an exposed escort before a protected rear ship. When you obtain your own ship, visit the shipyard to fit weapons and modules, then assign crew before travelling onward.
Controls
Tap on-screen menus, targets and battle commands with the stylus. In combat, A moves Forward, Y moves Backwards and B selects Standby. Choose Normal, Barrage or Dodge on the command interface when enough gauge is available. Watch weapon-range indicators and the target's formation position; movement buttons control fleet distance, not a freely steered ship.
Infinite Space — About this game
Infinite Space follows Yuri's journey into a wider universe through port conversations, ship preparation and fleet battles. Your ships are more than a set of attack values: crew assignments and the modules fitted into limited interior space affect how the fleet performs. In battle, you move closer or farther away to bring weapons into range while waiting for the command gauge to charge. A normal attack and a barrage do not serve the same purpose, because Dodge can evade a barrage but leaves an enemy vulnerable to normal fire. Formation also matters: front-line escorts are easier to hit than ships protected behind them. Progress depends on balancing preparation, fatigue and the timing of orders rather than repeatedly pressing an attack button.
