How to Play Inspector Gadget Racing
Quick start
Choose a driver and start with one of the three initially available circuits. Finish ahead of the pack to unlock the next track in order; the full game contains 20 circuits and later races include road, air and underwater handling. Hold acceleration on straights, brake before the slow vehicle swings wide, and collect track pick-ups such as missiles, tar, bubblegum or shields. Save the shield for an incoming attack and use the character vehicle's own ability separately from collected items. Winning the three tournaments with aligned drivers unlocks Gadget's or Dr. Claw's vehicle.
Controls
D-pad: steer and navigate menus. A: accelerate and confirm. B: brake and cancel/back. L: use the selected driver's built-in vehicle weapon or special ability. R: use the item or ability collected on the circuit. START: pause. The same layout applies to road, flying and underwater races, although each vehicle type handles differently.
