How to Play International Rally
Quick start
Begin with Time Attack, choose a car and course, and learn the first bends before chasing a record. Steer with Left/Right, accelerate with A and brake with B. Slow before a tight corner, then accelerate on exit. Watch the condition display and stop for repairs when damage starts to affect the car.
Controls
Left/Right steers, A accelerates and B brakes. START pauses and opens the race menu. In menus, use the directional pad to select, A to confirm and B to return. Monitor the component display and use the repair options when stopped rather than treating damage as purely cosmetic.
International Rally — About this game
The car’s tyres, gears, engine and shock absorbers can deteriorate after impacts. Monitor their condition and repair damage rather than losing more speed by pressing onward with a struggling machine. Championship groups several races into a campaign; Time Attack focuses attention on a single route. Learning where to slow down and how to leave a bend cleanly helps both results and reliability.
