How to Play Iron Man 2
Quick start
Choose Start Game and an empty save slot. Follow the opening instructions and practice Iron Man's movement, repulsors and hover. At headquarters, stand under a flashing arrow and press X to interact with the mission computer or workshop stations. Complete both heroes' levels at a mission location, then tackle its unlocked stages. Use earned Field Data for upgrades; progress saves automatically.
Controls
Default Iron Man controls: +Control Pad moves, A fires repulsors, B jumps; double B hovers and holding B while hovering flies. Y is melee, X interacts or charges a special, and R blocks. War Machine moves with the +Control Pad and aims/fires by touching targets; hold L or R and drag over enemies, then lift the stylus to launch locked missiles. Watch chain-gun heat. Button assignments can be changed in Pause.
Iron Man 2 — About this game
The DS version gives Iron Man and War Machine distinct ways to fight. Iron Man begins in the Mark VI suit, combining repulsors, melee attacks, hovering and flight. War Machine directs weapons through the touch screen, balancing chain-gun heat with grenades and lock-on missiles. Each mission location includes a level for each hero; clearing both opens bonus and boss levels. Between operations, control Tony Stark in the workshop, select the next mission and spend earned Field Data on upgrades. Power-routing choices and suit customization support different approaches. Learn each hero's controls before a fight, since sharing the same mission does not mean their weapons work the same way.
