How to Play IronSword: Wizards & Warriors II
Quick start
For a new game, press START twice through the opening screens. In the first mountain area, practice A jumps and B sword attacks while collecting keys, food and money. Search the chests and caves for useful spells and the golden egg, then return the egg to the Eagle King. In the cloud section, obtain Windbane before fighting the Wind Elemental. Use SELECT to note the displayed password before stopping.
Controls
Left/Right: move. Down: crouch. A: jump; combine with a direction to steer the jump. B: sword/weapon attack, or the elemental weapon's projectile once acquired. SELECT: open the spell/password screen; D-pad highlights a possessed spell or QUIT, A confirms. Purchases and password letters also use D-pad+A. START starts the game and pauses/resumes during play. Copy the complete password shown, then enter it on the opening code screen to return to that stage's beginning.
IronSword: Wizards & Warriors II — About this game
Kuros returns to Sindarin to stop Malkil, who now commands Wind, Water, Fire and Earth. This platform adventure rewards searching as much as sword fighting. Each domain hides a golden object needed by its Animal King; returning it opens the way onward, where you must find the special magic that can defeat the Elemental. Victory yields another part of the IronSword for the final journey to IceFire Mountain. Keys open treasure chests, money buys supplies at inns, and food restores your life force. Magic has its own reserve, so collect the floating bubbles before attempting a boss. The spell screen also provides a password for resuming later.
