How to Play Ishin no Arashi

Quick start

After the music starts, press START and select "Start a new game". Decide on the scenario, philosophy, and important people, answer the confirmation questions, and get started. At first, you can research yourself and the important people around you using ``Jouho'' and try persuading people who have the same ideology as ``trust'', so you can practice while avoiding the risk of changing your ideology due to failure. If your physical strength and mental strength decrease, rebuild them at an inn or restaurant.

Controls

Use the cross button to select an item or important person, press A to confirm, or press B to cancel. To move, use the cross button to change the direction of the arrow, press A to advance one square, and press B to stop midway. Move the arrow up/down for up/down, and rotate the arrow for left/right. For numerical values, select the digit with left and right, change with up and down, and confirm with A. Y/N confirmation is executed on the left or A, and canceled on the right or B. Ishin no Arashi — About this game

This is a work that selects important figures such as Ryoma Sakamoto, Takamori Saigo, and Kaishu Katsu and walks through Japan at the end of the Edo period, which was divided into the Sonno, the Kogi, and the Sabaku. The focus is not just on competing for land, but also on persuading people to change their minds. Gain the trust of people with the same ideology, increase your number of comrades, train your studies and martial arts, and approach people of high status. If you can convince the feudal lord, you will be able to handle the feudal government and the feudal soldiers. Traveling and talking will consume your physical and mental strength, so let's organize the thoughts of the Seventeen Clan in the direction you believe while also thinking about rest and financial options.
