How to Play J-League Winning Eleven Advance 2002
Quick start
Press START on the title screen and select "Match Mode" at first. Decide which J1/J2 club to control and which club to play against, check the match settings, and proceed to kickoff. The first goal is to get the ball to the holder when defending, and once it is stolen, connect the pass to the nearest teammate and carry it to the shot. Since this is a work that requires a lot of complex input, it will be more stable if you try short passes, through passes, and one-twos in "Training Mode" rather than going straight to the league match. League, Cup, and Masters Cup are also included, but the quickest entry point is Match mode, where you can learn the flow in one game.
Controls
In the menu, use the cross button to select an item/club, press A to confirm, and press B to return. During the match, use the cross button to move the players and press START to pause. Attack operations that can be confirmed in Nintendo patent documents that directly quote the instruction manual are B consecutive hits = long pass, A + B = through pass, L + A + B = floating ball through pass, L + B = one-two pass, and B consecutive hits while holding L = floating ball one-two pass. Shooting and defensive operations using a single button are not listed because it was not possible to determine their assignment among the published materials that we were able to confirm.
