How to Play JaJaMaru: Ninpō Chō
Quick start
Press SELECT on the title, select "Start", and confirm with START. After deciding the text speed, select the chapter you want to play and start. At first, you can practice by following the Book of Shinobi in the first chapter, or by interviewing the townspeople in the second chapter. Open a window with A and use "Discussion" and "Search". Equip the purchased weapons and armor with "tools". ``Oinori'' for the continuation is exactly what I heard from Grandma Itako.
Controls
Use the cross button to move and select commands. Press A to open a window and make decisions or move characters. Press B to return to the previous selection and enter "No". START while moving is a status display. For the title, select "Beginning/Continue" with SELECT and confirm with START. In battle, you select commands such as ``fight,'' ``carrel,'' ``tool,'' and ``protect,'' and it is not a game where you repeatedly press A or B as attack buttons directly.
JaJaMaru: Ninpō Chō — About this game
Unlike side-scrolling works where you keep throwing shuriken, this is an RPG where you listen to stories in town, use tools, and fight monsters with commands. You can choose your favorite chapter to play from three incidents: the stolen Book of Shinobi, the Great Yokai of Edo Castle, and the Dragon God that stopped raining. In addition to acquiring weapons and armor, you also need to equip them, and as you collect souls in battle and raise your rank, you will be able to use new ninjutsu. There are also differences in equipment, techniques, and actions you can choose between Jajamaru and Princess Sakura. Check the clues in the town and solve the case while managing the two people's physical strength and skill level.
