How to Play James Pond - Codename Robocod
Quick start
Choose New Game with A and enter a name for the save. Start the first mission outside the toy factory. Practise A to jump, then hold B to stretch towards a ledge and release it when within reach. Look for elves before heading to the exit, and check the map or status display if something remains.
Controls
Default controls: left/right move, A jumps and holding it longer increases jump height. Hold B to stretch, release at a ledge to grab it, then move sideways; Down drops. Down while still ducks, and Down during a jump compresses RoboCod for a stomp. R with the Control Pad looks around. L toggles map/status information and SELECT swaps the two screens. Control Style can swap jump and stretch buttons.
James Pond - Codename Robocod — About this game
Dr. Maybe has taken over Santa's toy factory and attached bombs to its elves. As RoboCod, James Pond uses an extending suit to reach ledges that a normal jump cannot reach. Stretch upwards, grab the edge and move sideways before dropping to another route. The factory's themed levels mix platform jumps, toy enemies and hidden treasures; all elves in a level must be rescued before its striped exit becomes active. Collect three golden bells to enter a bonus room after finishing the stage, and gather clocks to extend the bonus time. Power Stars restore suit energy. Explore above the obvious route and use the map to keep track of the remaining rescue work.
