How to Play Jeopardy! Junior Edition
Quick start
Press START, select one player with the D-pad and confirm using A or B. Choose skill level 1 for 50 seconds of response-entry time, then choose whether to play against the computer. Spell your name by selecting each letter with A/B and finish with END. Keep the displayed child character by choosing NO at the new-character prompt. Pick a category and value, buzz with a D-pad direction, fill in the words after the supplied question opening and select END to submit.
Controls
The D-pad selects menu options, clue categories and values, and characters on the alphabet grid. Either A or B enters the highlighted selection; the on-screen left arrow corrects text, while END submits it. START begins the game and SELECT is not used. Players 1 and 2 buzz using their respective controllers' D-pads. A third player shares Controller 1 with Player 1 and presses A or B to buzz, then uses the same text-entry controls when answering.
Jeopardy! Junior Edition — About this game
Jeopardy! Junior Edition adapts the quiz for children and teens, with its packaging aimed at ages seven and up. It is not a multiple-choice shortcut: players still choose a category and value, buzz for the clue and spell the response using the on-screen character grid. Child contestants stand at the podiums, and the separate question set keeps this edition distinct from the original and anniversary cartridges. Daily Doubles, the higher-value Double Jeopardy board and Final Jeopardy remain part of the contest. You can play alone, add computer competition or arrange up to three human players. Selecting a skill level changes the entry timer to 50, 45 or 40 seconds, so younger players can begin with more time to spell.
